What's the Difference Between Bach & Bush Remedies?

Some clients are drawn to one more than the other — and in some cases, I may suggest a blend of both depending on what’s coming up for you.

Bach Flower
Remedies

Delicate pink dog rose flower

A well-known system of 38 remedies developed in England. These target everyday emotional states like fear, guilt, hopelessness, and overthinking.

Australian Bush
Flower Remedies

A more expansive system including essences for trauma, boundaries, intuition, sexuality, and spiritual awareness. These often work at a deeper, energetic level.

Bach Flower & Australian Bush Flower Therapy

A gentle, natural way to support emotional wellbeing — in-person in London or online across the UK.

What Are Flower Remedies?

Flower remedies are subtle, plant-based infusions that support emotional balance and inner resilience. Each essence is linked to a particular emotional state — for example fear, overwhelm, grief, or indecision — and can gently help shift those patterns toward harmony.

These remedies don’t suppress symptoms. Instead, they invite clarity, calm, and self-awareness.

Why People Use Flower Therapy

Many of us carry emotional weight — whether from past experiences, current challenges, or long-term patterns. You might benefit from a flower remedy if you are:

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally stuck

  • Experiencing transitions such as grief, burnout, or relationship changes

  • Looking for natural support alongside other healing or therapy work

  • Wanting to reconnect with your emotional centre

What Happens in a Flower Remedy Session?

A typical consultation (45–60 minutes) is reflective, intuitive, and conversational. We discuss how you're feeling, what patterns or emotions are arising, and what kind of support you’re looking for.

From there:

  • I recommend a personalised blend made up of 1–7 flower essences

  • Your bottle is prepared and either given to you or posted to your UK address

  • You take a few drops daily for the next few weeks

  • Follow-up sessions are optional but often helpful
