Whole Person Therapy

‘Wholing’ was the original translation of the Germanic ‘haelen’, meaning ‘healer’ and it is from here that the word Holism derives. Holistic Therapies offer a gateway for you to re-member your Self: to remember your whole person, which is physical, emotional and spiritual in nature.

I am a qualified Acupuncturist and Psychotherapist and a Complementary Healthcare practitioner, meaning that I am trained to use various forms of bodywork, such as Massage and Reflexology, along with Kinesiology techniques, Flower Remedies and Nutrition. I am able to work with a wide variety of physical complaints, however my particular area of interest is in the use of therapies to address emotional health in situations such as anxiety, stress and depression. When working with clients I tailor my approach according to client needs, drawing upon my tool box of therapies and techniques to offer the most appropriate treatment.

We all have moments in life when we are not fully aligned, when something doesn’t feel quite right: it can manifest as physical pain, emotional upset or spiritual crisis.

Since body is connected to mind and both are rooted in Spirit, when one is impacted, all three can potentially feel the repercussions. In these moments we need a space to care for ourselves, where a trusted person can provide a supportive environment to facilitate our ‘wholing’.
